Terms of use.

1. Who we are

Streamless FM is an independent, non-commercial hobby internet radio station based in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. By listening to the stream or using this website (including the web player and shout-outs) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Listening is for Australia only

The music we broadcast is licensed for online transmission within Australia only. Because of this, the stream is geo-restricted and cannot be played from overseas. You must not attempt to circumvent this restriction (for example with a VPN or proxy). If you're travelling, the stream will be here when you get home.

3. Personal listening only

The stream is provided for your private and domestic use only — personal, non-commercial listening. You must not record, copy, redistribute, rebroadcast or publicly perform the stream or any part of it (for example, playing it as background music in a business), and you must not charge anyone to access it. All music remains the property of its artists and rights holders.

4. Shout-outs

Shout-outs are optional and free: you give us your name, who the shout-out is for, and an occasion from our list, and a host may give them a mention on air. Use real first names (or nicknames you'd be happy to hear on the radio) — not other people's personal details, and nothing abusive, offensive, defamatory or unlawful.

• The names you give may be read on air (by a presenter or the AI DJ).
• We may reject or skip any shout-out at our discretion, and we rate-limit submissions.
• Not every shout-out airs, and shout-outs never influence the music — what we play is always the station's own choice.

5. The AI DJ

Parts of our on-air presentation (introductions, links between songs, reading shout-outs) are generated by an AI host. It aims to be accurate and friendly, but like any AI it can make mistakes — song facts, pronunciations and the occasional odd remark included. On-air commentary is provided for entertainment and shouldn't be relied on as fact.

6. Acceptable use of the website

You must not:

• interfere with or disrupt the website, stream, or the systems behind them;
• use bots or scripts to spam the shout-out form or scrape the site at volume;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.

7. Availability and changes

This is a hobby project run with care but without guarantees. The stream and website are provided free of charge and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time — the "last updated" date above will change when we do, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, the service is provided "as is", and to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all other warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) the stream or website.

9. Governing law and contact
